The Coordinator – Fertiliser Geraldton, will coordinate the day to day operational activities across the fertiliser site including logistics, receivals, quality, resource and equipment allocation.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the site in order to receive, maintain and outload fertiliser
- Run the site ensuring all functions are running efficiently and safely
- Assign tasks to other staff as needed to ensure adherence to required standards and compliance
- Ensure optimum utilisation of data input into IBIS
- Ensure transporters are aware of operating procedures
- Raise and resolve maintenance inspections and repairs
- Ensure appropriate safety procedures / standards are adhered to for all site functions
- Provide an interface between the CBH Group, growers and the fertiliser business
- Assist with internal/external audit requirements and compliance tasks
- Ensure appropriate equipment and tools are available and maintained in a serviceable and calibrated condition
Skills and experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in storage and handling of bulk products
- Knowledge of the CBH harvest planning process and systems (IBIS)
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes including import and shipping
- Ability to supervise and coach staff
- Demonstrated understanding of safety awareness
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Competent in the operation of the Microsoft suite of products
- Goods receivable/stocktake experience
- Understanding of the WA supply chain
