We are looking for an Officer - Fertiliser to join our team in Kwinana at our new purpose built facility.

In the role you will operate the site in order to receive, maintain and outload fertiliser. Working across various functions, you will focus on quality assurance, task assignment and the opportunity to recommend improvements to operating processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive, maintain and outload fertiliser

  • Assign tasks to staff to ensure adherence to required standards and compliance

  • Ensure optimum utilisation of data input into CBH system

  • Ensure transporters are aware of operating procedures

  • Raise and resolve maintenance inspections and repairs

  • Ensure appropriate safety procedures / standards are adhered to for all site functions

  • Provide an interface between the CBH Group, growers and the fertiliser business

  • Assist with internal/external audit requirements and compliance tasks

  • Ensure appropriate equipment and tools are available and maintained in a serviceable and calibrated condition

Skills and experience

  • At least 3 years’ experience in storage and handling of bulk products

  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes including import and shipping

  • A Front End Loader ticket is highly desirable

  • Demonstrated understanding of safety awareness

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

  • Competent in the operation of the Microsoft suite of products and data entry

  • Goods receivable/stocktake experience

  • Experience in IBIS, SAP and CRM are desirable but not essential
