Fertiliser Coordinator

The Coordinator – Fertiliser , will coordinate the day to day operational activities across the fertiliser site including logistics, receivals, quality, resource and equipment allocation.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain the site in order to receive, maintain and outload fertiliser.

  • Operation of front end loader

  • Plan, schedule and execute plant loading activities in consultation with other site staff

  • Maintain a safe work area at all times

  • Raise and resolve maintenance inspections and repairs

  • Ensure transporters are aware of operating procedures

  • Ensure appropriate safety procedures / standards are adhered to for all site functions

  • Provide an interface between the CBH Group, growers and the fertiliser business

  • Assist with internal/external audit requirements and compliance tasks

  • Ensure appropriate equipment and tools are available and maintained in a serviceable and calibrated condition

Skills and experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Front End Loader and Forklift ticket

  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes including import and shipping

  • Ability to supervise and coach staff

  • Exhibit a strong dedication to prioritising safety

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

  • Competent in the operation of the Microsoft suite of products

  • Goods receivable/stocktake experience
