Who are we?
The CBH Group is Australia’s largest co-operative and a leader in the Australian grain industry, with operations extending along the value chain, including grain storage, handling, transport, marketing and processing.
With our unique end-to-end supply chain, we deliver a local quality product to over 30 international destinations. Become part of a dynamic, diverse organisation and make your mark in sustainably creating and returning value for our growers.
For the 21/22 harvest, we broke over 90 records, and a total 21.3 million tonnes delivered CBH’s network of 120+ receival sites. It’s enough grain to fill Optus Stadium 17 times over!
It’s a mammoth task to receive this much grain in a short harvest window, store it and export it via road and rail networks to one of our four shipping ports in WA.
We in-load via our own in-house design screw conveyor pits, bucket elevators, ground conveyors, trippers, and stackers into multiple storage types.
We strive to continually improve our equipment from site feedback, and we have a strong pipeline of work that focuses on out-loading with multiple new rail loading facilities and expansions of our existing receival sites.
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Electrician to join our close-knit team in Corrigin on a permanent basis.
A typical day will see you starting at the Corrigin workshop for pre-start and then carrying out any required maintenance tasks at any of our receival sites across the Corrigin regions, therefore you must be self-started with the ability to work unsupervised.
Rule Duties:
-
Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment, including elevators, conveyors, fixed and portable machinery.
-
Diagnosing and fault-finding PLC controlled equipment, which includes but not limited to elevators and conveyors, trippers and dust systems.
-
Complete basic administrative tasks that are aligned to the maintenance function using SAP.
