The Role
We are seeking a passionate individual who loves a challenge and strives to make each day better than the last. A team player and safety focused individual to join our engaged and energetic team as a Terminal Supervisor at our Kwinana Grain Terminal on a permanent full-time basis.
Terminal Supervisors are responsible for:

Working closely with your team of dedicated Plant Operators, supervising and coaching the team to ensure their safe, efficient and hygienic receival, storage and export of our grain products

Coordination of staff training and development, task planning, rostering and scheduling

Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders for shipping to ensure compliance with customer and CBH grain quality specifications

Supporting the Production Superintendent with the overall effective and efficient daily operation of the Terminal
This role offers a fantastic lifestyle roster! Working on a rotating shift roster, consisting of twelve-hour shifts with 2 days then 2 nights on and 4 days off, this unique opportunity allows exposure to various tasks including shipping and scheduling.
Location
This role is based at our Kwinana Grain Terminal, conveniently located in the lively Rockingham foreshore and approximately 40 minutes from the Perth CBD.
About You
You have a passion for leading people and have a safety-first mindset, you want to be part of a large WA Co-operative business that prides itself on delivering for its owners. You are self-motivated to lead a large team and take on responsibilities for the team performance.
You will:

Exhibit a strong dedication to prioritising safety

Have a passion and demonstrated experience in developing and supporting production team

Have experience working in a high performing team orientated operational environment

Communicate professionally and demonstrate a strong work ethic whilst continually striving to exceed expectations

Possess intermediate computer skills

Display the desire and willingness to learn and accept new challenges
Possession of the following will be advantageous:

Demonstrated experience Supervising or Leading a Team
-
Experience in the Grain Handling Industry and exposure to Operations storage and quality management systems

Certificate, Training or Post Graduate qualifications in Business, Management, Commerce or related discipline
