Bring your landlord-side retail lease administration/paralegal expertise to a rare agency opportunity with CBRE. This senior role manages retail lease transactions for a major institutional portfolio-work that typically sits in-house with landlords, now offered agency-side for someone ready to broaden their impact. This is not a finance or back-office role; it's a central, client-facing position that influences accuracy, compliance and delivery across a national retail asset base.
What you'll do
- Manage all lease documentation including new leases, renewals, variations, assignments, surrenders and options
- Coordinate approvals, execution workflows and document management across DocuSign, Vault and Vision
- Review Lease Proposals and work with leasing teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Handle non-commercial negotiations with external solicitors and secure landlord approvals
- Maintain reporting, status tracking and adherence to Retail Leases Acts nationally
- Build strong relationships with tenants, solicitors, IFM and internal stakeholders
- Improve templates, processes and documentation standards across the portfolio
What you'll bring
- 3+ years' experience in landlord retail lease administration, retail leasing, or property/legal documentation
- Strong understanding of state Retail Leases Acts
- Exceptional accuracy, organisation and deadline management
- Clear, confident communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement ability
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, DocuSign and lease administration systems
