Are you an experienced finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are inviting Expressions of Interest from talented Senior Accountants or Finance Managers who want to play a key role in delivering high quality financial outcomes across a diverse property portfolio in the next 1- 2 months.
About the Role
As a Finance Manager within our Property Management Accounting team, you will oversee the financial performance and reporting for a portfolio of assets. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure accurate, timely and meaningful financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of property financials for a portfolio of assets.
- Oversee monthly reporting including balance sheet, P&L analysis, variance commentary, and management accounts.
- Prepare journal entries and manage outgoings reconciliations, budgets, wash ups, amortisation schedules and IFRS calculations.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for financial reporting matters across your allocated portfolio.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, tax requirements and regulatory frameworks.
- Support audit processes and contribute to system enhancements, testing and training.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
About You
You are a proactive and detail driven finance professional with a knack for turning complex data into meaningful insights. You enjoy ownership of your portfolio and bring strong analytical and communication skills to the table.
To be successful, you will have:
- Experience in property accounting (preferred but not essential)
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- CPA/CA qualification or progression toward it (preferred).
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to interpret complex information.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing general ledgers, sub ledgers and month end processes.
