This role is for an organized, detail-focused finance professional with experience in accounts receivable and lease administration to join a Property Management Accounting team. The successful candidate will serve as an Accounts Receivable & Lease Administrator, responsible for supporting onshore and offshore processing teams, ensuring the integrity of trust accounting, receipting, and lease maintenance activities, and collaborating with Property Managers and other internal and offshore stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant outcomes.
The opportunity
- Deliver high quality lease administration and accounts receivable support, including complex transactions, tenant reconciliations and accurate data maintenance across MRI, Yardi and Cirrus 8 systems.
- Provide timely, professional assistance to Property Managers, resolving complex lease and AR queries with a strong customer focused approach.
- Ensure financial accuracy and compliance by maintaining trust accounts in line with legislation and supporting internal and external audit requirements.
- Troubleshoot system issues in MRI and Yardi, helping maintain the integrity and accuracy of accounting and lease data.
- Review and quality check daily work from the offshore processing team, offering guidance, coaching and support where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting SOP updates, system and process enhancement initiatives, training activities and other ad hoc duties.
About You
- Several years experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally within property management.
- Strong lease administration knowledge and experience using MRI and/or Yardi would be ideal.
- Excellent time management, analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and a customer focused approach.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Excel (intermediate level or above).
- A positive, team oriented and adaptable attitude.
