The Project
CPB Contractors is working with Newcrest on the Cadia Integrated Tailings Project at the Cadia Valley Operations, located south of Orange NSW. This exciting new project involves civil bulk earthworks construction to increase tailings storage facilities. This is your opportunity to join our high performing team, based onsite, working an 8 days on/ 6 days off roster.
Your Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Control Engineer to join our site-based team.
As a Project Engineer, you will be accountable for:
- Supporting project cost control activities
- Monitoring and control of project budgets and schedule
- Liaising with construction teams and subcontractors across the project to deliver outcomes
- Assisting in project control system innovation initiatives
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field along with experience in a similar role
- Ability to implement safe work systems & environmental controls.
- Proven commercial acumen
- Ability to collaborate as part of a supportive, high-performing team
- Excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail
This position requires a self-starter, team player and someone who thrives on a fast paced and varied role. Your technical ability will be supported by your excellent work ethic, commitment to safety and proven ability to build strong relationships with internal clients.
