NEWest Alliance is currently undertaking the construction of both the Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link. These important infrastructure projects will safely deliver next-generation infrastructure that better connect people and transform communities.
Your Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced SHEQ Administrator, reporting to the SHEQ Manager we are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to deliver accurate and timely administration support to the Team and contribute greatly to the successful and safe delivery of the Project, including monitoring systems and daily data entry, monthly and weekly preparation and collation of reports, inputting into systems that support the SHEQ functions i.e. Damstra, Inductions, Synergy, Enablon (Inspections). This role will be based at our Butler site office.
As a SHEQ Administrator, you will have:
- Cert IV in WHS or Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent (Desirable)
- Relevant experience in an administration role (HSE Desirable)
- Knowledge of project risk management controls and actions
- Knowledge of auditing, safety inspections and compliance reporting procedures and processes
- Experience in document compliance procedures and processes and understanding of technology to support SHEQ systems
- Knowledge of incident management and reporting involving multiple internal and external parties
- Recent previous experience working as a Safety Administrator within the civil construction or mining industry
- Ability to administer & maintain a comprehensive database of all project related health & safety data & prepare it for reporting to deadlines
- Advanced skill and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to operate with a high degree of independence in a busy environment
- Experience developing and disseminating minutes from meetings as directed by Safety Lead or SH Coordinator
- Strong ability to develop excellent working relationships with all staff
