Your Opportunity
The primary focus of this role is the management and co-ordination of internal and external stakeholder relationships and delivering a range of communication outputs, including internal leadership messages, project announcements and related promotional material.
You will be accountable for:
- Building CPB Contractors' reputation as the leading provider of stakeholder and community engagement services
- Developing and maintaining relationships with senior communications representatives at client organisations and other key stakeholders
- Designing and maintaining 'best practice' systems and processes in stakeholder and community engagement on construction projects
- Building a team of professional stakeholder and community relations resources to support CPB Contractors’ projects
- Designing and maintaining a program for internal networking, professional development and information sharing between stakeholder engagement resources across multiple work sites
- Designing and delivering a training program for graduates and entry level staff
- Providing operational support to projects where required, including management of start-up and close-out activities
- Assisting with work winning where required, including independent review of stakeholder and community elements of tender documents
- Writing and reviewing management plans as required
- Coordinating the internal and external communications activities for the business unit
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Degree in marketing / communications and / or equivalent employment experience
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in a senior Stakeholder Engagement, Business Development, Marketing or Communications role
- Excellent understanding of the construction industry and CPB’s customers and stakeholders
- Strong computer literacy; i.e. intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office products; particularly Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong writing skills
- Demonstrated experience with a range of communication channels, including online and digital
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, planning, and workload management skills
- Problem solving
