An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Sous Chef to join our passionate team in Margo's Restaurant. With a capacity of 360 seats, Margo’s offers a wide selection of dishes from around the world. The interior is bright and breezy, with guests being able to relax and chat over a coffee and cake at the café or enjoy a refreshing drink from the bar.

Your responsibilities will include assisting the Chef de Cuisine in the day to day operation of the kitchen as well as providing leadership and coaching to your team. You must be highly motivated and focused with excellent attention to detail and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.

About the Role:

• Relevant experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of Western cuisine
• Extensive experience in a high volume, a la carte Restaurant
• Effective leadership skills including ability to train and mentor your team
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
• Adaptability and able to lead change
• Willingness and ability to work on rotating 24/7 roster including overnights & public holidays
• You must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (including booster shots if eligible) or have a genuine medical exception to be eligible to work onsite at Crown.
