Crown Metropol is Melbourne's largest hotel with over 650 rooms, an award-winning infinity pool, gym/sauna and an incredible team who consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Working alongside the General Manager, our new Rooms Division Manager will have a strong focus on Housekeeping, Front Office, operations, staff and stakeholder communication, and the execution of strategies to ensure continual improvement, efficiencies and strong financial returns.
This position will be heavily involved in the operation of the hotel across all areas and will be a key driver in setting a high standard of service for the team through coaching and developing to deliver one of Australia's iconic brands to guests.
The Rooms Division Manager will also have key interactions with a variety of stakeholders, therefore confidence and the ability to build strong relationships will be pivotal.
What you need:
- Extensive experience in a senior management role within a premium hotel, preferably on a large scale
- Experience in strategy development, operational business
- planning and negotiating skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams with a high service culture
- Ability to advise and influence all levels of management
- Experience with executing projects
- Experience and confidence with hotel management systems; Opera preferred
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to achieve results in a high pressure environment
- You must be fully vaccinated (with two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) or have a genuine medical exemption to be eligible to work on site at Crown
