Group Senior Manager Responsible Gambling Policy & Controls

Reporting to the Group Executive General Manager Responsible Gambling, this role will manage the compliance of Crown’s Responsible Gambling function, leading first line of defence quality control of Crown’s Responsible Gambling obligations. Activities will include amendment of process maps and control documentation to manage any issues and deficiencies raised through second (Assurance) and third (Internal Audit) Line reviews to ensure a robust and compliant control environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide relevant specialist knowledge and experience to understand, influence and update Crown’s Responsible Gambling Policies
- Identify opportunities to bring consistency in policy and procedures across all properties.
- Assess company operations to determine compliance risk.
- Conduct compliance monitoring activity (e.g. audits etc) and ensuring the implementation of remedial work.
- Participate in developing and implementing a detailed RG Audit Universe and RG Audit Plan that takes into consideration risk assessment, goals and objectives of management, as well as Audit Committees
To be successful, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in policy development, compliance, risk management or internal/external audit, preferably with listed companies is desirable
- Proven understanding of compliance and assurance testing standards and methodologies
- Experience with drafting and implementing Policy and procedures
- Ability to build a good relationship with other control functions, such as second line assurance and third line Internal Audit stakeholders
- Proven experience in an audit-like function at a large organisation
- Strong knowledge of Responsible Gambling and operational requirements and Australian regulations.
This role can be based out of our Sydney, Melbourne or Perth properties.
