Koko is known for its serene setting aided by a beautiful water feature garden that takes pride of place in the restaurant. Koko offers teppanyaki, a la carte tables, a sake bar, sushi bar, tatami and teppanyaki rooms, all with breathtaking views of the Yarra River and the Melbourne city skyline.
Crown Melbourne has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Chef de Partie to join Koko Restaurant! Your responsibilities will include supporting the management team in the day to day operation as well as providing leadership, support and coaching to your allocated section.
What we are looking for:
- Extensive Japanese cuisine experience in a similar role, within a premium dining environment
- Hot Kitchen experience is essential, sushi/sashimi skills beneficial
- Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
- Demonstrated organisational, time management and delegation skills
- Exceptional communication skills and experience with customer interaction
- Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP
