Security Services Manager

As a Security Services Manager you will be responsible for managing and developing the Security Services employees and contractor labour to deliver an engaging customer experience. You will also be accountable for the delivery of all facets of the Security Services and emergency management functions across the complex including Hotels, Gaming, VIP Gaming, Food and Beverage and Events.
Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing strong, consistent leadership, direction and support
- Managing emergencies, risk and any critical incidents
- Contributing to broader business unit strategies
- Being a highly visible point of contact across the complex for security related matters
- Providing a high level of service to internal & external customers
- Adhering to and enforcing the business’s policies and procedures
- Maintaining a positive employee culture
- Managing resources to ensure budget objectives are achieved
- Conducting shift briefings/musters
To be successful, you will need:
- Operational management experience and a background in casinos, crowd control and/ or hospitality will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership position with coaching and change management skills
- Demonstrated experience in managing and accessing risks
- Experience responding to emergencies or critical incidents
- Excellent negotiation and people management skills
- Experience in report writing with strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic & changing environment
- A current Victorian Crowd Control License - Certificate II or III in Security Operations or the ability to obtain one
- Able to obtain and maintain a Casino Special License Category A license
- Availability to work 12 hour shifts across a 24/7 rotating roster.
