WORKDAY FUNCTIONAL LEAD - TRANSFORMATION

Reporting to the Program Manager - Workday, an opportunity exists for a Workday Functional Lead to join the business on a 18-month fixed-term contract. This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth.

This role will be responsible for, but is not limited to:
- Owning the functionality in Workday for the stream
- Managing ongoing roadmap discussions on architecture and features of current Workday HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, Performance, Absence and Reporting.
- Designing and implementing requirements in Workday HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, Performance, Absence and Reporting solutions
- Understanding and utilizing Workday's Implementation Methodology and advise HR and users on best practice
- Developing the scope of the functional/technical areas of the project
- Driving all functional/technical decisions for that Work stream – and escalate to Crown PM to obtain decisions
- Gathering requirements from all other areas within the organization
- Documenting requirements in Configuration Workbooks and Design Decision Guides
- Change Management liaison and supporting the change activities, including review of training materials, help guides, and facilitation of engagement sessions and demonstrations
- Establishing test scenarios and work with Crown Test Manager to ensure timely execution of solution testing, and actively participate in testing activities
- Working in conjunction with the Workday Work Stream Lead in the configuration of the system
- Assuming training for all other Crown resources in their respective area of responsibility
- Providing project status updates for their Stream
- Supporting data migration activities where required
Key selection criteria:
- 1+ years of experience managing a vendor relationship
- Workday HCM certification
- 8+ years of HRIS or IT systems / applications management experience, with 3+ years of experience with Workday modules: HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Performance, Leave and Absence
- BA/BS in business or similar experience
- Advanced excel skills
- Prism, People Analytics, Learning Module, Recruitment Module, Core HCM experience advantageous
