Senior Security Engineer

The Crown IT department have a unique opportunity for a Senior Security Engineer to join the team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Group Manager Security, the Senior Security Engineer will be accountable for assisting with the establishment, management, implementation, development, and evaluation of the Crown Resorts security infrastructure to ensure that policies relating to access, user rights and privileges to applications and systems protect company computing, network, and digital assets across the Crown Resorts Group.
Some of the key duties and responsibilities will include:

Contributing to the Crown Resorts strategy and direction in all areas of information security and best practice

Maintaining the security protection provided for all elements of the Crown Resorts computing and networking environment including data networks, servers, storage systems, applications, and systems software

Assisting with the development and maintenance of data security policy and documentation standards consistent with government regulations and/or agreed IT security standards for all Crown Resorts properties

Introducing mechanisms designed to meet the needs of senior management and protect the interests of the business.
What you need to be successful:

Strong, demonstrated work experience within the IT Security industry including demonstrated IT security skills.

Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline i.e. Information Technology

Relevant post graduate qualification or industry certifications

The ability to guide and influence stakeholders as required.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and agile working environment.

Exceptional probity and credit clearance and ability to obtain and maintain appropriate Casino Employee Licenses
