This 2024 IBL program, based in our Aftersales team, focuses on our Training Academy andcommences mid-January 2024. You will need to commit to full-time office hours until end of January 2025. To qualify for this program, you must be an undergraduate student currently completing your penultimate year of study. As at January 2024, you must have a remaining 12 months or 2 semesters of study to complete your degree. Ideally, you are studying a Business / Marketing / HR or similar degree.

The role:
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative university student to join the team as an IBL Training Academy Assistant. Our 2024 IBL Program will expose you to real jobs, real experiences and real learning which will allow you to gain valuable workplace experience relevant to your chosen field of study. This 12-month opportunity, starting in 2024, is to learn and work alongside our experienced team of professionals across our Training Academy team, accelerating your learning and gaining valuable exposure to our brand and corporate values. Within this Training Academy Assistant role, you will have an opportunity to immerse yourself and assist in coordinating the Daimler Truck Training Academy, which is responsible for a variety of technical and non-technical training for our industry-leading Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso products. Your role will include office coordination, being a key contact for the Daimler New Hire Induction Program, maintaining databases and providing support to the Dealer Network. You have the opportunity to learn and contribute to Daimler Truck training days, coordinating sessions, liaising with external providers, and assisting with some marketing activities. This is the perfect role for someone looking to have a great work life balance, with an opportunity to work from 7am until 3pm ensuring that the Training Centre is up and running for the day ahead, whilst freeing up your afternoon.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Onsite coordination of the Training Academy facility
- Assist with course material planning, course schedules, trainer requests, network requests and day-to-day course management
- Coordinate the logistics involved in delivering training, including external trainers and catering companies
- Coordinate the process of new external staff, including on-boarding in internal portal, preparation of welcome letter, printing out materials and sending out necessary paperwork
- Act as one of the key contacts between Daimler Truck internal, dealer and supplier in the new hire induction process
- Maintain a database of Learning Coordinators for each dealership
- Provide support to the team in generating training reports
