Your role
The Air Force can be called upon to operate in diverse locations at short notice, requiring the construction of temporary infrastructure in what can often be remote areas. That makes the job of Air Force Electrician particularly fulfilling.
Your key role will be to install electrical power generation and distribution systems for the temporary airfields established for expeditionary air operations. Other work will range from maintaining runway lighting to installing power reticulation for new developments on established air bases.
You will also participate in ground defence exercises where you will be required to provide temporary electrical services.

Salary
- Fully-paid training

- Training in Wagga Wagga, NSW and Amberley, QLD
- Then posting to Air Force bases Richmond, NSW, Townsville, QLD or Tindal, NT

Entry Requirements
- At least 17 years of age
- Australian Citizen
- Year 10 completion with passes in English and Mathematics
