A great opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join Domain’s Real Time Agent (RTA) Team Newton. • Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams, actively contributing and evolving ideas to enhance the customer experience.

• Write clean, reusable, supportable, maintainable, scalable and tested code

• Embrace Agile Scrum methodologies and engage in regular code reviews and collaborative pairing to develop secure, thoroughly tested, and validated additions.

• Tackle challenges with a collective ownership mindset and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.

• Value the success of the team as a whole, grow with a continuous improvement mindset and support your teammates to do the same

• Mentor and empower more junior developers

• Engage with the broader Domain engineering community in your areas of interest, to share experience and push our capabilities forward.

Attributes

• Solid foundation with design patterns and writing quality, sustainable, testable code

• Experience working in an iterative, agile / scrum environment with a mindset of continuous learning & improvement

• An ownership mindset and empathy for your team and customers

• Ability to nurture and foster relationships horizontally and vertically within a large technical organisation.

• Experience with the following technologies:

  • React and/or React Native

  • JavaScript and/or Typescript

  • CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)

• Experience building and running infrastructure on a major cloud platform, AWS preferred.

Not mandatory but favourably considered

• Experience with SQL (Postgres), Kotlin, Java or Python

• Experience building in cloud native architectures

• Knowledge of the Real Estate industry and supporting technology
