A great opportunity for a Business Analyst focused on Finance systems to join the Enterprise Platform team at Domain Group. In this role, you will identify, analyse, and document business processes, systems, services, and other functional requirements to facilitate ongoing business improvements in alignment with the Enterprise Platform strategies.
Domain is a dynamic technology environment with some of Australia's most iconic property websites and apps. This role primarily focuses on internal/enterprise technologies that our financial teams use to support the accounting and reporting lifecycles.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate will:
● Gather requirements and translate them into business knowledge and system details
● Undertake qualitative and quantitative research to identify trends and assist with determining business priorities.
● Analyse existing Finance systems and processes to ensure strategic objectives are met
● Understanding of standard finance activities
● Drive improvements and refinement of the entire Finance system ecosystem and help to lift the knowledge and capabilities across the team.
● Provide advice about the feasibility and suitability of proposed solutions to optimise business performance and achieve business outcomes.
● Draw detailed process flow and data flow diagrams
● Understanding of system integrations and APIs
● Facilitate strong working relationships with key stakeholders to support collaboration, the exchange of information and issues management to build on existing relationships and influence outcomes.
● Work with key stakeholders to define business requirements and trends to enable data driven and informed business decisions.
● Provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences coupled with strong written and oral communication skills.
Attribute:
● (Ideally) Prior experience of projects that involve business process reengineering or system migration
● (Preferred but not essential) Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Zuora functionality and capabilities
