We have a fantastic newly created opportunity for a HR Business Partner – Administration & Venues to ‘Don the Sash’ and join our People team based at our club headquarters (The Hangar) in Melbourne Airport.
The Opportunity
- Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Business Partner plays a key role in the implementation of the Club’s People strategy across their portfolio and executing best practice HR principles, practices, policies and programs that enable the Club to attract and retain the best available diverse talent who perform at their best and continually strive to grow.
- This will be a busy and diverse Generalist role with a key focus on providing HR advice and support to our two venues at Windy Hill and Melton Country Club to foster a culture of high performance in the pursuit of achieving the Club’s shared vision and values.
- You will establish yourself as a trusted advisor and partner with stakeholders translating your knowledge into commercial outcomes and bringing new thinking to problem-solving. You will have a particular focus on Award interpretation, managing any people or performance issues, and leading value add HR projects.
About you
- Proven generalist capability across the HR spectrum, with experience in employee relations, recruitment and change management.
- Strong business partnering experience with proven ability to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders and translate business requirements into effective people practices that are aligned to business’ strategic priorities.
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications and sound Industrial Relations experience, including Award interpretation.
- Experience to autonomously run any performance management or investigations.
- Strong performance bias with the ability to work under pressure, manage projects and meet tight deadlines and turn around work quickly and to a high standard.
- Strong HR systems and reporting acumen and experience.
- Strong passion and experience for leading and driving workplace safety culture and systems.
- A demonstrated ability to collaborate, engage and influence across all levels within the organisation.
- Driven by strong ethics and values, motivated to succeed, possess professional maturity and love what you do!
