Role Overview:

Publishers at Finder focus on owning specific verticals - creating commercial success by generating traffic for a specific product-comparison niche on our websites.

In this role, you will be responsible for growing the share trading vertical on Finder, identifying market opportunities in our key markets around the world. You will generate high quality and relevant non-paid traffic for investing product comparisons that convert into referrals for our partners. You will be working alongside editorial and client partnerships teams through managing the improvement and maintenance of existing content and executing upon new opportunities for commercial SEO and CRO growth in key markets.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have to be passionate about generating content and organic marketing ideas and optimising content for SEO and monetisation. You will have an analytical point of view, excellent attention to detail, a strong sense of accountability, and a collaborative approach to communicating and leading global teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Content and marketing strategy - Developing best-practice SEO and other marketing strategies to look for new content and traffic opportunities, based on user and keyword research. Working with the PR team to develop innovative new methods to promote Finder and earn links.
  • Content quality - Working with the editorial team to manage and optimise existing and new content across multiple countries, ensuring we build out guides that are authoritative, in-depth, rank highly in search engines, deliver on target audience intent for the page, and drive comparisons and ultimately conversions for our commercial partners.
  • Conversion rate optimisation - Create frequent, meaningful split/multivariate tests to determine the best copy, content layouts and configuration to achieve higher redirects and revenue.
  • Overseeing product data compliance - Ensuring that data management processes are in place to ensure accuracy of product data at all times in all markets.
  • Continuous testing and improvement - Never settling for second best and consistently testing to make sure we’re driving the best outcomes for our users and partners.
  • Analysis and reporting on performance - Own and be on top of the numbers, including data from: Google Analytics; Search Console; Data Studio; and internal attribution, conversion and revenue reports. Analyse data around consumer patterns and preferences in different markets.
  • Co-designing and implementing new technical solutions - Embedded templated approaches to publishing that allow Finder to meet more customer needs through making new guides, tools and formats scalable and repeatable across marketplaces.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams - Have excellent working relationships across all Finder functions, particularly editorial, technical production, monetisation and paid marketing crew. Facilitate the sharing of quality improvements across markets.

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in SEO, CRO, and content management
  • Demonstrated success in creating and executing on a content strategy for non-paid channels.
  • Experience working collaboratively with and commissioning other teams, such as project managers, developers, PR, editorial and sales.
  • The ability to analyse and use data to guide and explain business decisions
  • A proactive, “get it done” attitude with the ability to go live quickly and frequently
  • A desire to continuously learn and improve your skills. This will also be facilitated through company-funded training
  • An ‘owner’ mentality, able to facilitate strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Subject matter expertise in share trading and the regulatory regimes that govern it.
  • A demonstrated passion for helping to build technical solutions that reduce manual toil and enable businesses to serve customers at scale.
  • Experience working across time-zones with geographically distributed teams.
  • Operations, process and project management expertise, with a knack for reducing organisational complexity.
  • A successful track recording in leading a team of 3-5 individuals.
