The Role
We’re excited to be expanding our Investment team at Igneo Infrastructure Partners in Sydney. This is a rare and compelling opportunity to accelerate your career within a high-growth firm that’s shaping the future of infrastructure investment.
As part of our diverse team, you’ll gain broad exposure across core and core-plus infrastructure sectors—including energy and renewables, waste management, digital infrastructure, transport, and logistics. You’ll work alongside senior directors and collaborate with our experienced Australia and New Zealand investment team, contributing to both regional and global fund growth.
This role offers the chance to work on transactions not only in Australia, but also across North America and Europe, giving you a truly global perspective.
As an Investment Associate, you’ll play a key role in:
- Supporting transaction origination and execution
- Undertaking market and sector research and analysis
- Asset management of portfolio companies
- Engaging in investor relations and contributing to fundraising efforts

About You
Your Experience
- 2-4 years of relevant experience across investment banking, private equity, or M&A advisory. Specific infrastructure experience is not essential. We will also consider those with industry backgrounds currently in corporate development roles looking to transition into funds.
- Deep interest in infrastructure, digital and energy transition sectors
- Strong quantitative/numerical skills - advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
- Undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Engineering or other quantitative fields with strong academic results
