About the role
First Sentier Group (FSG) is looking to bring on a Business Development Manager to support growth across our investments business. This is an opportunity to partner with our investment teams and affiliates including Igneo Infrastructure Partners, RQI Investors, First Sentier Investors and FSSA offering a wide range of products to the Institutional market. FSG has a strong track record and well -established position in market with over $200 bn assets under management globally.
Based in our Head Office in Sydney, this newly created position is pivotal in driving success of FSG by executing strategies and building relationships with institutional investors, superannuation funds, insurance corporations, consultants, and other key stakeholders within the Australian funds management industry.
As part of a collaborative global Distribution team you will drive positive client outcomes by working closely with leadership, BDM’s, Marketing, Client Relationship and RFP teams as well as more broadly with Portfolio Managers, Responsible Investment and technical specialists. You will have an opportunity build your investments knowledge across multiple asset classes and will have access to some of the most seasoned and successful individuals in market.
About you
- Experience driving excellent client outcomes through sales, relationship management or client management roles within the broad funds management landscape.
- Strong interest in investments and a genuine passion for a career the funds management
- Intellectually curious and ideally degree qualified.
- Exceptional communication capability, influencing skills and ability to quickly build relationships.
- Commercial mindset.
- We are open to considering those looking to take a step up into a BDM level role.
