About the Role
Based in our Sydney head office, the Change Manager will support First Sentier Group, a global fund manager, to deliver effective organisational and technology enabled change. As part of a global team, you will be involved in enterprise-wide projects across multiple disciplines, teams and offices. The role spans the full change lifecycle, and you will be instrumental in designing, building and executing solutions.
In this newly created permanent position, you will work across multiple projects and streams to drive the adoption of new ways of working to realise significant benefits for our growth-oriented firm. Working in a fast paced and innovative environment you will contribute to and leverage FSG’s Change Management Framework and Project Delivery Approach.
This is an opportunity for a practical, hands on change professional to make a real difference and deliver outcomes whilst contributing to the ongoing development of change tools and practices.
About you
You are a pragmatic, people focused Change Manager who brings structure without rigidity. You are comfortable working in ambiguity, able to balance delivery with continuous improvement, and confident engaging stakeholders across business, technology and people functions.
You enjoy and are effective in partnering with leaders, project teams and business stakeholders to translate change into practical, adoptable outcomes. You are willing to roll up your sleeves, do the work, and adapt your approach as the organisation’s change capability continues to mature.
Your Skills and Experience
- You bring 5–8 years’ experience delivering end‑to‑end change across project and BAU environments, ideally within financial services
- Proven experience in people‑centred change across medium to large‑scale initiatives
- Applying structured change frameworks across engagement, readiness, communications, training and adoption
- Using data‑driven insights to track readiness, adoption and benefits realisation
- Owning change outcomes while working closely with program leadership and a broad array of senior stakeholders
- Applying, or demonstrating awareness of, Human‑Centred Design (HCD) principles and working with ADKAR (or similar) change frameworks
- Exceptional communication capability and ability to distil complex information simply
