About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Functional Analyst to join our team. The Functional Analyst will play a crucial role in analysing business processes, gathering requirements, and translating them into functional specifications for software development projects.

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyse business requirements.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and observations to gather information and gain a deep understanding of business processes and user needs.
• Business Process Analysis: Analyse existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Recommend and facilitate process changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Requirements Definition and Documentation: Translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive functional specifications.
• Define and document system functionalities, user interfaces, data structures, and business rules using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users, subject matter experts, and development teams to ensure a common understanding of requirements and priorities.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback, validate requirements, and address questions or concerns. Solution Design and Evaluation: Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements.
• Evaluate potential solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend the most appropriate approach to address business needs.
• Change Management: Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems, processes, and stakeholders.
• Develop change management strategies and support the implementation of changes by providing training, user support, and communication materials.
• Solution Validation and Testing: Collaborate with the testing team to develop test plans and test cases based on functional specifications.
• Review and validate test results to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Business Insights and Reporting: Analyse business data and generate insights to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis and process optimization. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and enhancement of business analysis methodologies and tools.
