About the role
We are looking for an experienced Sofware Developer with NV1 clearance for a 12 month contract to work with our Defence client in Canberra. Please note security clearance is essential for this role.
About you
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Research, design implement and manage software.
- Develop and conduct test and evaluation of software.
- Identify areas for modification in existing software and take appropriate action to rectify any shortfalls.
- Write and implement effective code, in accordance with technical direction and best practice.
- Determine operational practicality of software and develop quality assurance procedures.
- Deploy software tools, processes and metrics.
- As required, undertake any other tasks as requested by the Technical Team.
- Minimum security clearance of NV1.
- Ideally Defence background or Government.
- Experience with: Java, Python, Bash Script, Ansible.
- Product knowledge: Springboot, React, Django, Prometheus, Grafana, elasticsearch, Jenkins, Njinx (desirable not essential).
