Gemco Rail, a subsidiary of Engenco Limited, specialises in the manufacture and refurbishment of rail products and provision of maintenance services to national rail operators. The company provides wheel-sets, bogies and in-field wagon maintenance, and manufactures new and refurbished wagons, bogie component parts, rail track maintenance equipment, and customised, remote-controlled ballast car discharge gates, as well as repair, maintenance and refurbishment of locomotives.
Your New Opportunity
Gemco Rail is excited to offer a new opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our Rockhampton facility on a full-time basis. The main responsibility of this role is to provide support with basic administrative duties for the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide weekly timesheets summary for all employees to payroll
- Invoicing of service orders.
- Raise Purchase Requisitions/Orders in SAP as required.
- Manage training needs - book external training and keep the training matrix updated.
- Book medical appointments for employees as required.
- Maintain employee roster calendar.
- Maintain a high standard of data entry accuracy & integrity.
- Scanning of production records and data entry as per customer requirements.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required to support the site
Essential Skills:
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently with a keen attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks to changing workloads
Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders
Desirable Skills:
SAP experience.
Previous experience in an office environment/ administration
