We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join a high-performing project delivery team, responsible for leading the planning, coordination and execution of construction activities in the Northern Territory. This role will play a critical part in ensuring construction is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with cost and schedule objectives. The position will initially be office-based supporting planning, design integration and early project execution. As the project progresses, the role will transition into a FIFO-based position to support on-site construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead construction planning, methodology selection and execution strategies to ensure safe, efficient project delivery
  • Develop and manage Construction Work Packages (CWPs), ensuring alignment with engineering, procurement and project schedules
  • Review and approve construction budgets, forecasts and schedules, ensuring cost and time objectives are achieved
  • Oversee constructability reviews, drawings and specifications, identifying risks and optimising construction methodologies
  • Establish and implement construction execution plans, site procedures and governance in line with corporate standards
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders including engineering, procurement, planning and project leadership to drive construction performance
  • Manage safety planning and ensure compliance with all HSE standards, legislation and site requirements
  • Lead, mentor and manage construction teams and contractors, ensuring performance, productivity and project outcomes are achieved

About You
You are a highly experienced Construction Manager with a strong background delivering major projects within heavy industry, resources or industrial environments. You bring a demonstrated commitment to health and safety across all phases of project delivery, along with deep knowledge of construction practices, standards and regulatory requirements. With strong leadership capability, you have successfully managed large teams and engaged directly with clients and stakeholders on complex projects. You combine technical expertise with strong commercial and planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting and scheduling. A relevant technical degree or equivalent experience is required, along with extensive experience (10–15+ years) in construction management within EPCM or similar project delivery environments.
