Are you looking for an opportunity to join a diverse group of professionals who are committed to remaining exceptional? We look forward to hearing from you.

Major projects rely on strong site services leadership to keep people safe, supported and productive. Due to continued project growth and workforce mobilisation requirements, we are seeking an experienced Deputy Site Services (Facilities) Manager to support the delivery of critical workforce and operational services across the Arafura Project. Reporting to the Site Services Facilities Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the coordination and delivery of accommodation, camp operations, travel, transport, essential services, security, emergency response, facilities maintenance and contractor-managed services. You will play a key role in ensuring site services are delivered safely, efficiently and cost-effectively while providing leadership continuity across the function. The Deputy Site Services Facilities Manager will assist in managing all personnel support and site services functions that underpin the successful delivery of a large-scale construction project. Working closely with project teams, contractors and service providers, you will help ensure workforce mobilisation, accommodation, camp facilities, utilities and support services operate seamlessly to meet project demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development, procurement and delivery of site services contract packages, including scope development, tender evaluations, risk assessments and contractor award recommendations.
  • Coordinate mobilisation and onboarding activities, ensuring personnel compliance requirements, travel arrangements and accommodation allocations are effectively managed.
  • Assist in the management of accommodation villages, camp operations, catering, cleaning, reception and recreational facilities.
  • Support delivery and performance of workforce travel and transport services, including commercial flights, charter services and site bussing operations.
  • Coordinate site service contractors and support effective interfaces between construction teams and service providers.
  • Assist in managing essential services infrastructure including power, water, wastewater, communications and waste management systems.
  • Support contractor governance activities including KPI monitoring, audits, compliance reviews, contract administration and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, cost control and contractor performance management across site services operations.

About You

You are an experienced site services, camp operations or workforce mobilisation professional with a proven ability to support large FIFO workforces in complex construction or resources environments. You enjoy coordinating multiple service providers, balancing operational priorities and driving high standards of service delivery. With strong commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem-solving, you can build effective relationships across project teams while ensuring facilities and workforce support services operate safely, efficiently and reliably.

What You'll Bring

  • 7-10+ years' experience in site services, camp management, workforce mobilisation, travel coordination or facilities management within major resources, mining or construction projects.
  • Experience supporting contractor-managed site services across large FIFO operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders and service providers in fast-paced project environments.
  • Strong understanding of HSE requirements, risk management principles and accommodation or food safety standards.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, contractor performance management and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.

Preferred

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Hospitality, Facilities Management, Logistics or a related discipline.
  • Certifications such as Food Safety/HACCP, Infection Control, Remote Area First Aid or Fatigue Management.
  • Experience supporting Indigenous participation initiatives and local supplier development programs.
  • Familiarity with emergency response planning and remote infrastructure environments
