Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Perth.
We manage our clients’ entire project lifecycle from studies to building assets, operating the assets, and developing efficiencies. Join our team and become part of a community that strives for positive change – providing the best solutions for our clients’ toughest challenges!
As the Engineering Manager you will have full responsibility for the engineering and management of the full life cycle of the projects being delivered out of Perth for a wide range of services for mining, metallurgical, energy and infrastructure industries. You will coordinate, control and oversee all aspects of engineering and project delivery – from estimating and designing, through to construction.
You will be central to our business development and growth plans whilst having a focus on project delivery.
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Have extensive experience of engineering systems, design and applications of engineering processes.
- Bring the ability to understand legislation and standards in order to successfully deliver engineering projects.
- Have an uncompromising drive to achieve best practice and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate your ability and drive to develop business.
- Possess excellent communication, consultation and negotiation abilities.
- As a proven leader, you will have a talent for bringing together teams focused on common goals and the ability to develop their technical capabilities.
You bring to the role:
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications and significant experience in a multi-disciplinary environment. Specifically, you will be able to demonstrate your experience managing design engineering teams. You will have excellent planning and organization skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
