Hatch is looking for a Senor Document Controller to join us in our Brisbane Office. We pride ourselves on empowering our people, so if you are ready for a hands-on role working as part of a great team on challenging projects, then Hatch is the right place for you!
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Provide ongoing quality support with formatting, collating and quality checking project documentation
- Register, classify, and transmit deliverables and other documents via the EDMS
- Maintain revision control, progress, and ease of access
- Receive, log, track, file and monitor vendor documents
- Upload/capture data on Client’s EDMS if required
- Analysis of data to review and ensure the accuracy of information
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, both internal and external
- Handover of documentation at the end of projects
- Coordinate the development of project Document Management plans, work instructions, contributing to training programs, and assisting in the planning cycle
You bring to the role:
You will understand and have experience working in large complex organizations, ideally in engineering and construction, along with previous document control experience. Previous exposure with relevant Document Management Systems, such as TeamBinder, ProjectWise, SharePoint and other collaborative project management tools considered an asset, with ability to learn other software tools and advanced Microsoft Office Applications and Adobe/PDF Xchange. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements on multiple projects, along with competency in continuous improvement, change management, and a flexible approach. We are looking for candidates with outstanding communication and relationship building skills, in addition to having exceptional attention to details, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and embraces a collaborative and inclusive work style.
Experience in the following programs/applications will be well regarded:
- Advanced Microsoft Office Applications and Adobe/PDF Xchange;
- Experience with document management systems is an asset, i.e. Aconex, TeamBinder, Sharepoint, ProjectWise, Scenario, Fusion.
- Writing Document Control Plans and Work Instructions.
