We are seeking an experienced CAD Manager to support the delivery of transport infrastructure projects across roads, rail and related assets. This is a hands‑on role that combines active CAD drafting and design with workshare coordination, technical oversight, and quality assurance across project teams. Previous design experience on Queensland TMR projects is required, providing a strong foundation in structured client standards, documentation requirements and design quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workshare coordination across local and global delivery teams, including allocation of drafting tasks, scope definition and sequencing of work
  • Establish and maintain CAD environments, templates, file structures and workflows to support efficient distributed delivery
  • Act as the primary point of contact for CAD-related matters across project teams
  • Review, check and coordinate drawings and models produced through workshare to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality
  • Ensure CAD outputs align with relevant client standards and specifications, drawing on prior TMR design experience where applicable
  • Support Engineers and Project Managers by providing practical CAD guidance and resolving coordination issues
  • Maintain and continuously improve CAD standards, processes and ways of working
  • Mentor and support designers and drafters, promoting capability uplift and consistent delivery practices

About You

You are an experienced CAD professional with a strong background in transport infrastructure design and documentation. You bring hands‑on drafting capability, alongside proven experience coordinating CAD delivery across distributed or offshore teams. Your TMR design experience has equipped you with a solid understanding of rigorous drafting standards, governance and approval processes. You are organised, detail‑focused and collaborative, with a practical approach that supports high‑quality, efficient project delivery.

Why join us?
