Financial Crime Investigations focus on the specific financial crime threats the firm faces now and in the future, pioneering the techniques and technology that protect our business, our customers, and the many communities in which we operate, from the harms associated with financial crime. We do this by harnessing intelligence, analytics, technology, investigation, information sharing, and public-private partnerships.
Taking on this critical role, which is a conduit to successfully achieving business outcomes, you will drive the performance of a team of investigators, maintaining quality standards and motivating outcome delivery. As such this role is a great opportunity for someone with solid financial crime investigations experience, who enjoys leading teams and driving positive outcomes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team responsible for conducting day-to-day operations of local financial crime Investigations and support with the development of staff.
- Driving performance of Investigators including maintenance of quality standards and delivery of KPIs and SLAs.
- Supporting the Senior Manager, Investigative Reporting in the oversight and coordination of case investigations in line with expected targets
- Drafting, reviewing and issuing investigation reports to in line with defined procedures to fulfill regulatory requirements
- Escalating potentially significant issues found during an investigation to relevant to Senior Management and internal stakeholders
- Undertaking local ad hoc projects, reviews and monitoring.
- Providing support in the delivery of team specific Management Information to inform senior management of team performance measures.
