Job Summary:
As an FP&A Manager, you will manage performance within the finance team for the HUB24 Group and act as a key support and second‑in‑charge (2IC) to the Senior Finance Manager, providing coverage and leadership support as required.
This role will support the finance team and other business leaders with ad hoc financial and business analysis, key strategic projects and report presentations.
Responsibilities:
Act as a key support and second‑in‑charge (2IC) to the Senior Finance Manager, providing coverage and leadership support as required
Support oversight of team outputs to ensure high‑quality, accurate and timely deliverables
Develop and maintain the rolling budget, quarterly forecasts and cashflow modelling, ensuring accuracy and alignment to business strategy
Prepare timely revenue reporting and key financial metric insights to support performance discussions and strategic decision‑making
Report on variances between actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each reporting period, providing clear commentary and recommendations
Review and assess budget submissions for approval and ensure department managers meet budget and forecasting deadlines
Design, implement and maintain effective budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting policies, procedures and systems.
Review company budgets for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Drive continuous improvement across group budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, establishing best‑practice standards
Proactively identify and recommend improvements that increase profitability, enhance efficiency and strengthen financial performance
Provide commercial advice to support key client opportunities, pricing considerations and contract reviews
Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting on business improvement initiatives and transformation projects
Provide forecasting, modelling and financial advice to support merger and acquisition activities
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in accounting
CPA/CA qualified
Strong experience in group finance roles within large, complex businesses (ideally ASX-listed)
Advanced Excel skills and experience with Netsuite/PeopleSoft and Workday Adaptive is very highly regarded
Experience or interest in Power BI and data visualisation tools
Build strong working relationships built on trust and respect
Persuade and influence the thoughts and actions of others
Articulate and persuasively present critical arguments
Build rapport and professional credibility
