What’s the role?

As HubSpot’s Sales Ramp Acceleration Manager you will be responsible for building, leading and implementing the sales acceleration playbook for the Mid Market & Corporate sales teams. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring we achieve our sales targets each month. This role will help increase sales rep experience, accelerate ramping of new hires, improve rep retention and accelerate revenue growth, through close collaboration with HubSpot Senior Leadership and Sales Directors. As this is a newly created role, you will have the unique opportunity to be responsible for developing the initial program aligned with the approach we use in other regions where HubSpot operates.

What will you do?

  • Lead a best in class sales acceleration process in a business segment of ~40-50 go-to market sales reps
  • Define and take accountability with the Mid Market & Corporate sales director for key performance indicators including deal engagement, deal creation, deals won, close rate and average selling price
  • Effectively coach how to prospect, manage capacity and develop pre-call plans to create a delightful customer experience
  • Effectively coach reps on how to progress deals to close, expanding our presence in the customer organization, tailoring the reps message to specific audiences, collaborating with partners and driving engagement with the customer
  • Partner with sales enablement and marketing to accelerate growth in our high velocity segment through a high-touch sales model
  • Design and execute the segment ramp acceleration playbook
  • Support and lead initiatives developed by sales enablement, sales operations and marketing by including implementation, execution, and inspection of tools, projects, and campaign rollouts to ensure success from the sales teams
  • Evaluate key trends and metrics to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies across the segment, including the distributions of weekly "Ramping Rep Reports" with performance metrics of the KPIs of all team members in their first year with Hubspot.
  • Make recommendations and consult with sales management around trends, metrics, and key actions
  • Weekly live call coaching followed by providing feedback to Sales Executives to ensure they are capable of supporting their constituents
  • Develop and deliver weekly ramp acceleration training for growth specialists in their first year to include training on solution specific products, personas, deal strategy in the sales process
  • Manage, train and develop multi-touch engagement campaigns utilized by all ramping growth specialists

Who are you?

  • People management or team lead experience, and a passion for creating a diverse and inclusive team environment
  • Desire to help others to be successful and strength in collaboration
  • Experience in developing go-to market motions and strategies that apply to both large customer acquisition and low touch small customer acquisition
  • A strong track record of growth and overachieving targets in a high velocity, high-growth sales team
  • A proven playbook for coaching, and mentoring go-to market teams
  • Strategic mindset to help drive HubSpot customer acquisition strategy
  • A deep understanding of customer needs to design sales processes which solve for customers first
  • The ability to motivate and align a team to a vision and manage effectively through change
  • Previous experience working in SaaS industries
  • Proficiency in public speaking at industry and company events
