At Intrax, our Project Division partners with developers, architects, and builders to deliver complex, large‑scale developments that shape how people live, work, and move. This role matters because the electrical discipline is central to safe, sustainable, and high‑performing buildings.

As a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer, you will lead technical outcomes, influence design direction early, and help lift capability across a growing multidisciplinary practice.
You will play a critical role in delivering projects that go beyond compliance—balancing innovation, constructability, commercial outcomes, and long‑term asset performance.



What You’ll Do
  • Lead and deliver complex building services electrical projects from concept through to completion
  • Provide technical excellence across power, lighting, communications, and related systems
  • Prepare, review, and approve high‑quality designs, reports, and specifications
  • Coordinate closely with other disciplines to achieve integrated project outcomes
  • Mentor, guide, and develop engineers and designers within the team
  • Drive quality, consistency, and continuous improvement in systems and processes
  • Engage with clients and project partners to support successful delivery and repeat work
  • Contribute to business growth through winning and delivering work
  • Support project financial performance, utilisation, and program outcomes

What You Bring
  • 8+ years’ experience (Associate) or 10+ years’ experience (Principal) in building services electrical engineering
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or equivalent)
  • NER registration (Associate) or Chartered status (Principal)
  • Strong knowledge of Australian standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven delivery of large, multidisciplinary projects
  • Confidence leading teams and mentoring engineers
  • Commercial awareness, including project budgets and delivery efficiency
  • Clear communication skills and strong stakeholder engagement capability
  • A practical, solutions‑focused mindset
