We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stormwater Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join our high-performing Civil team. This role is ideal for someone looking to further their technical capability in residential stormwater design while working on a diverse range of projects across Victoria.
In this exciting and fast-paced role, your day to day will include:
- Designing and delivering high-quality stormwater management solutions for residential and civil projects.
- Preparing stormwater drainage plans, reports, and modelling in line with council and authority requirements.
- Managing project timelines and deliverables with autonomy and accountability.
- Liaising with clients, local councils, and internal design teams to ensure technical alignment and delivery outcomes.
- Applying knowledge of local authority guidelines, WSUD principles, OSD, pit & pipe design, and overland flow paths.
- Staying across changes in relevant standards, such as AS3500.3 and council-specific drainage design policies.
What we’re looking for:
- 2–4 years of civil engineering experience, ideally in stormwater design within a consulting or development environment.
- Familiarity with VIC local council requirements and approval processes is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in tools such as OSD4, DRAINS, Civil3D, 12D, and/or MUSIC is desirable.
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team.
