The Opportunity

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritising product and key stakeholder requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with R&D, operations, engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. This role also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

What you’ll do
  • Lead the strategy, planning, delivery, and in-life optimization of a product throughout its lifecycle in the interiors and portfolios across multiple technologies
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that leverage product opportunities across the business, operations and market
  • In conjunction with segment and marketing, develop and deploy a coherent product strategy via 7 P’s for a given product range. Leverage PDCA principles to monitor progress and work functionally to address performance off track to plan
  • Define product positioning and value propositions to maximise customer and business value
  • Partner with Commercial and R&D teams to deliver product enhancements and line extensions from concept through to commercialisation
  • Drive product profitability by identifying growth opportunities, value-added solutions and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities and risks, and develop strategies to strengthen market position
  • Monitor the market for pricing, manage and execute the pricing strategy for specific products including working with finance on discounts and rebates
  • Manage the entire product life cycle for specific products from inception to end-of-life, ensuring alignment with the 7P's (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, Physical evidence) to maximise market impact and profitability
  • Support the Head of Category in effective category management including forecasting and demand planning and ensuring key targets are met
What you’ll bring
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Product Management &/or Engineering
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution of key business initiatives from conception to implementation, with a focus on driving cross functional collaboration
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering is highly advantageous
  • Technical experience in product development, operations, or a related field
  • Proven experience in successfully developing, launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle
  • Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to draw on diverse inputs to develop and communicate a robust strategy, with clear cascaded tactics planned and executed
  • Demonstrated ability to interface and drive alignment with various functions within a business
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments while meeting deadlines and demanding quality execution
