This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR generalist to work for a Global company. You will partner with Business Leaders to formulate business plans, coach and support them to achieve the plans.
Key areas:
-
Be the ‘go to’ HR person for managers and employees.

Develop effective working relationships with local management and employees in order to influence and coach them on effective employment practices.
-
Participates in the Business Leadership Team meetings contributing to the development and implementation of strategies and business plans.
-
Works in partnership with local management on various employment matters.
-
Conducts investigations and recommend actions to effectively resolve policy violations or employee grievances.
-
Stay current on employment laws and company policies.
-
Prepares Affirmative Action Plans for Business groups.
-
Analyzes business and HR metrics to identify HR-related opportunities for improvement.
-
Partner with the Leadership Team to identify talent, succession and development plans.
-
Manage restructuring exercises without conflict or legal ramifications.
-
Participate in the interview process for key roles
-
Coordinate day one activities for new employee on-boarding
-
Provide input for process/policy improvement.
-
Maintain a cordial relationship with Union officials and works together for the best interest.

Leads HR Projects across the Pacific or APAC.
What we are looking for:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
-
Minimum 10+ years HR Generalist experience with strong knowledge of Employee/Labour relations.

Excellent business planning, performance management, and change management skills.
-
Must have solid human resources generalist skills, especially in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits and employment law and labour relations.

Must be able to quickly gain trust and build relationships.
-
Demonstrated success at influencing and coaching employees and business leaders is required.
-
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills are essential.

Also important is the ability to juggle multiple and competing priorities.
