One of the keys to our success has been the effectiveness of our local distribution network and centres. As a high volume retailer we move millions of cartons of stock each year and our DCs are crucial to ensuring our stores receive stock in a safe and timely manner.

To support our growth, we currently have a number of opportunities for Casual Team Members, previous warehouse experience including MHE & High reach forklift would be highly desirable at our state of the art distribution centre in Jandakot:

It is a requirement that all employees be aged 18 or above to work in a Distribution Centre.

The Role

The roles available involve working on the sorter, processing cartons, stacking products on pallets, loading cartons on the conveyor and may include forklift tasks.

You should note that these are physically demanding positions which require:

• repetitive lifting of ranges between 1kg to 20kg (average 11kg)
• bending and squatting

The Shifts

We are currently looking for Team members with availability during the following times:

Monday to Friday
5.30am to Midnight (shifts may vary from 4 to 10 hours)

Saturday
6.00am to 6.00pm

About You
To be successful in this role you need to be able to manage the physical requirements (important), have great time management skills and have a strong commitment to health and safety.

You will be capable of working autonomously but also thrive in a team environment and be a natural team player who is supportive and helpful. You will have a great can-do attitude and embrace the Kmart values of integrity, team work, delivering results, boldness and putting our customers first!

High Rise Fork Ticket and or Pick and Pack experience highly desirable

Warehouse experience is great but not essential.

Experienced MHE Drivers highly desirable.
