You will report to the Head of People & Capability and work alongside a team of highly capable and fun P&C professionals, that are extremely passionate about what they do. This team have built strong partnerships with their client groups and support each other daily to deliver outstanding results.
What you’ll be doing
As a People and Capability Business Partner at our National Office you will:
- Partner with General Managers and their direct reports to support the delivery of their strategic people plans in way that is commercial and supports Kmart’s diversity and inclusion strategy
- Implement Kmart’s People Plan by delivering all cyclical activities across the business, including performance reviews, talent reviews, the engagement survey, succession planning and the annual remuneration review, plus other key initiatives
- Provide coaching and strategic advice to the leaders that you partner with to help them become inspiring people leaders who can develop a great team culture for their team members
- Contribute to making Kmart a great place to work by living the values of Take Care, Reach Higher, Think Customer, Delivery Results and Live Integrity
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- An ability to influence, build relationships quickly and collaborate well, with a diverse group of people leaders and the broader People and Capability team
- Proven experience in a P&C Business Partnering role for a large corporate organisation over a five-year period and experience in operating at pace
- A passion for continuous improvement to deliver great results
- A curious mind that will enable you to innovate, and deliver on the strategic people priorities for the portfolios that you will support across Merchandise, Design, Inventory and Central Planning
- Outstanding time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A positive can-do attitude with a commercial mindset that will allow you to remove roadblocks, as a challenge to mitigate quickly, with a low-cost approach
