Join the team
As a Senior Engineer within our Personalisation, Loyalty and data Platform, you will develop and manage integrations with multiple cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Github Actions, Confluent, Sumologic and Kong.
you will also be supporting a variety of Marketing Technology SAAS products and applications. The role will involve being part of a well-established team as well as will give you an opportunity to be involved in upcoming technology transformations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work in collaboration with Architects, Tech Lead and Engineering Manager to create development patterns.
- Understand technical designs and see them through the Agile development cycle.
- Support strong automation strategies and drive similar practices.
- Provide input to business for software solutions, estimates and specifications.
- Have passion for quality code.
- Help with Marketing Technology and loyalty roadmap.
- Mentor and support Engineers
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- 7 plus years of experience in software development / DevOps roles
- Strong experience in Java, JavaScript, React or similar software development languages.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience on AWS Cloud services
- Strong background in DevOps – GitHub actions, Terraform, Kubernetes, CloudFormation etc.
- Familiarity of working in an Agile environment
- Experience in building CI / CD pipelines
- Experience in deploying infrastructure through code.
- Familiarity with Typescript or similar software development languages, highly desirable
- Background in Marketing Technology including Tealium, Google Analytics, GTM is desirable.
