Join the team
As the Delivery Manager you will build and manage a productive relationship between IT and the relevant business stakeholders and functions in order to identify, prioritise, and deliver applications and products. You will be responsible for improving business outcomes, aligned to both the business and technology strategies. You will develop a strong and measurable engineering capability through introduction of new team members and continued capability uplift of existing team members.
You will also support the adoption of lean principles and Agile practices as and where appropriate. Develop and lead a high performing team, coaching and mentoring to ensure continual performance improvement. Ensure the delivery of high quality, fit for purpose solutions deliver through agile development approaches. Contribute to overall technology and strategic direction to ensure that engineering interests are considered and included.
What you’ll be doing
As a Delivery Manager working for Kmart you will:
- 5+ years of proven experience in an IT leadership role such as Delivery Manager/Delivery Lead.
- You have expereince in key strategic project planning across the end to end supply chain including merchandising and planning and inventory.
- Proven experience in modern engineering practices and an understanding of contemporary development practices, processes, and technology.
- Proven experience in managing blended onshore/offshore teams.
- Relevant experience leading change within technology organisations.
- Proven experience with development of application solutions in dynamic environments.
- Ability to demonstrate delivery of complex projects and supporting processes and applications.
