About the role
Laing O'Rourke is recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer with services/utilities experience to form a key part of the team for our public infrastructure project based in Perth, WA. Reporting to the Area Manager, your role will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, commissioning and handover of new services and the diversion of existing services on the project.
Key responsibilities
- Reinforce a strict safety regime for the services works, by ensuring that the services works are fully controlled, including their interface with the surrounding work site and wider community. Ensure design and construction requirements are achieved.
- Liaise with relevant authorities in relation to compliance
- Plan and sequence construction activities, track costs, manage services subcontractors interface with our design management and construction delivery team
About you
- Experience in delivering services on large-scale, public infrastructure projects
- Relevant degree in Engineering (ideally Electrical or Mechanical)
- Strong delivery focus and leadership skills
You will have
A degree in Engineering along with a significant amount of previous experience working in a similar role on Public Infrastructure projects in Australia.
