About the role
Laing O’Rourke are recruiting for an experienced Senior Planner (Rail) to join our Track Renewals team based in Melbourne, VIC.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Delivery Manager, a key focus of your role will be to prepare and assess detailed project plans at an advanced level for all stages and facets of the project to help deliver project outcomes on time.
You will perform Critical Path analysis to identify issues, risks and areas requiring attention and communicate it to Project Manager, Project Controls Manager and Delivery Team along with supporting the development of Planning and Project Controls templates and reports.
You will have
You will hold a degree qualification in Civil Engineering or similar. Essential to this role will be your experience working on Rail projects. You will demonstrate strong computer literacy skills with proficiency in the use of Primavera P6 and MS Project in order to create programmes and update progress.
You will have excellent communication skills and strong planning, project controls and reporting skills to deal with a fast paced environment.
