Part of the global Liebherr Group of Companies, Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd was first incorporated as a company in 1981 and soon after, the 20-hectare head office complex in Adelaide (South Australia) was built.

Today, with over 1,800 employees, the company sells and supports a range of Liebherr products from fourteen branches across Australia and New Zealand, including mobile and crawler cranes, offshore cranes, tower cranes, deep foundation machines, earthmoving and mining equipment, and components.

If I could go back in time to change something about my career, I would tell my younger self that workplaces like Liebherr do exist. So, don't settle, go find one. My role as Logistics Manager is an unusual one as it touches on manufacturing, mining and heavy haulage. All are industries that remain among the nation’s lowest for gender diversity in both operational and management roles. Throughout my career, I have experienced innumerable uncomfortable situations. But from day one, Liebherr created a supportive and welcoming environment for me and my all-female team. I have been supported to take unchartered paths and encouraged to challenge the status quo. I have been trusted, acknowledged and appreciated for my skills and experience. Being awarded Liebherr-Australia’s Employee of the Year for 2025 was deeply meaningful and recognition of the role I play in the business.
