About the role
The Brand and Creative Services team has two primary roles; to set the strategic direction for the brand to ensure it aligns to the business strategy and implementation and delivery of the brand action plan; and to champion it through creative communications delivered by an in-house team of design and communication experts. The Brand Marketing Specialist will sit within the brand strategy and management team, reporting to the Brand Manager. This is an integral role within the team and acts as the ultimate brand custodian, ensuring our values, purpose and brand personality for Lifeblood are accurately represented through both campaigns and design.
The organisation has recently embarked on a brand identity refresh to support the brand strategy, this role will work with stakeholders and external agency partners to ensure marketing communications align with brand messaging, managing brand governance, guidelines and processes to ensure consistent alignment. The Brand Marketing Specialist will collaborate with internal stakeholders to articulate the brand story and to ensure the brand strategy and refreshed brand identity is embedded throughout the business.
This role is also responsible for managing the Brand Hub (digital asset management system) for the organisation; updating content and user experience with the refreshed brand guidelines and assets; ensuring guardianship of the Brand through a review checkpoint of materials created by internal and external stakeholders.

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a brand, marketing or communications role.
- Considerable experience in managing a digital asset management (DAM) or content management system (CMS) – or relevant alternative.
- Brand governance or brand custodian experience.
- Ability to interpret guidelines and apply to creative executions.
- Strength’s in working with stakeholders and a solution orientated mindset.
- Prepared to take a hands-on role on additional tasks as needed, to support the broader team.
- Sharp eye for detail.
- Focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Articulate communicator – both verbally and through written comms.
- Skilled at effectively managing own time, to meet deadlines and potentially competing priorities.
